Then Eyne - Textile Conservation is founded by Constanze Zimmer and is based in the beautiful Cotswold area near Stroud.
Constanze is originally from Germany and came to England 14 years ago . She started her career as a dressmaker which led to be a costume and fashion specialist. Trained and Working in textile conservation since over 15 years she also gained professional experiences in furnishings, banners, embroideries, ecclesiastical textiles, toys and modern artifacts alongside many others.
Constanze is an accredited member of the Institution of Conservation (ICON) and an ACR assessor for future conservators.
Constanze worked as a freelance in Germany before joining Historic Royal Palaces in London. Moving on to working at the Victoria & Albert Museum,, she worked in a private studio before becoming freelance and working in her own studio or on site..
